How Does an Education Technology Specialist Evaluate Our Course in Self-Advocacy?

Zoey has a working background in Education Technology and was an ed' tech' manager leading educational work for 7 universities across Australia. Zoey was the LE Project Manager and a leader in her field for the Mental Illness Fellowship of Australia (MIFA). As well as Zoey being a person of lived experience and beta testing the course from the LE perspective, Zoey also ran an ed' tech' evaluation of our self-advocacy course, using her professional expertise as a leader in education technology for Australia. Zoey evaluated our e-course's engagement tools and formats, amongst several other aspects of the 'learning' and studying experience. Pricing Options

The World Wide Warren is scheduling many more courses and some of them are FREE!

Our first course 'Thru the Rabbit Holes of 'Mental Health' Service-User Self-Advocacy (full WAC) a 6 month course, will a payment plan of $27.70 per month, equivalent to $6.94 per/wk for 9 mths (calculated using 'averaged' DSP/Health Care card holder circumstances). Whilst current pricing is established at monthly payments, weekly and fortnightly debits will become available.

The academy is planning to offer subsidies and scholarships too. In addition, one of our next updates is site membership and/or subscription options, so you can access course contents plus more, on a weekly to monthly basis for more manageable payments. Warren Academy wants to support your needs and we will bring you all our further planned payment options as soon as practicable.

Are you an NDIS participant? In the near future, you may be able to access courses with your NDIS packaging.

  • Some of these courses sound really full on! I read lots of information about them and what if I'm not confident to sign-up?

    Hey rabbit, there's nothing you can't handle in the courses. If you're someone who wants to take a course then you're someone with a great attitude and all you need in the World Wide Warren IS A GREAT ATTITUDE! Just take your time, immerse yourself in what you find and take breaks. All you need in terms of intellect and academic ability for our courses is the intellectual ability to THINK and the academic ability to READ. Other than that, it's about commitment to take a leap into the Rabbit Hole and GIVE IT A GO! Nothing ventured, nothing gained. It will be whatever you make it and we just know that you're going to have a meaningful experience down there. Our courses eventually go through a redevelopment process to enable us to offer them to more diverse groups with differing needs - this takes a long time but it is our commitment.

  • What if I can't afford the course price even at the popular payment option?

    Don't you worry Rabbit, you may have other options! The Warren will soon be offering a subscription service, which means that you can access the entire course content plus more, on a weekly to monthly basis for much more manageable payments.

    Are you an NDIS participant? We are currently awaiting our NDIS Provider Registration confirmation, so you may be able to access the course with your NDIS packaging.

    Are you on DSP and/or have a Health Care Card? For some of our courses, we have special prices just for you!

  • Why is the one-time payment option the same as the payment plan option? Usually up-front payments in full are for a lesser amount.

    Down in the Warren we feel an ethical tension around reducing the one-time payment price. This is because it's an economic accessibility issue. We consider that if an individual can afford to pay a significant price for something in one payment, and others cannot, then those who require a payment plan are penalized for their financial circumstances if someone else paying in one sum is getting a discount. Conversely, those who do not experience financial stress are rewarded for their economic position. At the Warren we struggle with seeing the equity of this sales convention.

  • Can I complete the course in less time than the stated course length?

    Warren Hole In One Courses can be completed as fast as you like! Hole in One courses have no scheduling component. Warren Mini-Courses, Agility Courses and premium coaching programs, however, cannot be completed faster than their scheduling. This is for important reasons, primarily it's to facilitate the mindful emersion experience from the course content. Mini-courses drip scheduling tends to work differently. In some cases, you can complete between 55 - 70% of your course before you are slowed down in the course. Usually, this is when nearing the Library Chambers, those Chambers have mandatory two week study period, and the prior Rabbit Holes regulate how quickly you approach those Library Chambers, and regulate how fast you can complete the Library Chambers once they’ve been opened for you.

  • What do I do if I have a technical problem whilst doing the course?

    Ah yes, we'll know how you feel. Don't worry, just contact support under your profile icon on your Warren Mud Map (dashboard) and explain your technical issue. Our IT Hares will fix it for you. In the meantime, you can always try the famous DIY IT solution, turn it off and turn it back on again!

  • Will I get a certificate for completing my course?

    Yes, you will get a certificate! Every Rabbit who completes any part of the Warren (a Warren Course or program) gets a completion certificate. Meaning if you complete any course, program, or Warren sub-system (course bundle) you will receive a completion certificate. The premium coaching programs that require pre-requisite criteria to be met on application, also offer a graduation certificate.

  • What should I expect after I go through a Rabbit Hole and start a course through the Warren?

    Spoiler alerts... It's enough to say that featured on your checkout thank you page, you'll see a reminder message about expectations.

    Quite simply, once into the first Rabbit Hole of your course, you'll be greeted with a welcome video by your Instructor Hare. During your journey (course) through the Warren, you'll attain information and resources that are unique to Warren Academy and they're unmatched!

    You may need to take breaks and even if you love ploughing ahead with things the course will moderate your speed.

    All Explorer Rabbits (that's you) will have access to a course community group where they can tunnel off to and engage with others doing the course at the same time. You can just 'Rabbit on' in there and share your insights and experiences.

    During your journey, you'll have different audio and visual experiences as well as the cognitive and emotional ones. (If only we could put smells in there too)!

    Depending on your course, you may find our special Inspiration Chambers, Challenge Chambers, and Reflection Chambers at the end of each Rabbit Hole you go through, don't rush or skip them -that's where the magic can happen.

  • Can I get a refund?

    All Warren Agility Courses and premium coaching programs are fully refundable. Simple email support within 30 days to let us know if you have any kind of problem with the course or if you've simply changed your mind. Warren Mini courses and Warren Hole in One courses are not refundable but you can email support if your course is malfunctioning or if you feel that your course not a good fit for you and we can exchange it or part exchange it for a different course or coaching program that you might be interested in.

    Easy, simply click on the square image with the title of the course you're interested in (the course card) and it will take you to the designated page for that course (the course page).
